These printables will be perfect for entertaining this Thanksgiving, whether you have a few guests or a whole room full. Keep your guests occupied with “I’m Thankful” cards, or get the dinner conversation flowing with conversation starters, both of which fit perfectly into the free printable utensil holder envelopes.
Speaking of Thanksgiving, I can hardly believe it’s almost here! I mean, seriously, my mind is still trying to wrap around the fact that Halloween is in a few days and then all of a sudden it will be full speed holiday mode.
We don’t have a big Thanksgiving celebration. It’s usually just my immediate family, so there are just a few of us. But we still try to make it special by breaking out the special dishes and creating a beautiful table. I can’t wait to use these utensil holders this year, I think they will be so much fun!
They also would double as treat holders, which you could fill with goodies for your guests instead of silverware.
Be sure to set out some colored pencils or crayons and let guests get creative.
There are eight conversation starter questions, mostly related to Thanksgiving or family, and they are good for kids and adults alike. It’s a great way to break the ice, especially if there are people who are new to the family, or that you just haven’t met before. The best part is the Conversation Starters and Thankful cards fit right into the utensil envelopes!

Hi,
Love this idea! What kind of paper did you use for the utensil holder?
I use cardstock for all of my printables.
Thank you – I really like your ideas.
Thanks 🙂
Would you share the manufacturer and name of your dishes, please? I love them.
I bought them at JCPenney probably 15 years ago. I don’t recall the brand. I actually just replaced them.
Thank you for the great ideas. Our holidays were getting a bit dull and routine. I printed out the question cards this year and we had a great time with the answers and the stories they generated. I will put this in the planning book for next year. Thanks again.
Thank you so much for these printables. We don’t celebrate Thanksgiving here in South Africa, but I thought I’d use the conversation starters as a fun way to get a wonderful friend’s birthday off the ground to show her how thankful we are that she is in our lives.

I love your conversation starter cards but page 1 won’t print. I can see it when it opens but when I try to send it to my printer it won’t work. Page 2 worked out great. Any thoughts on how to fix this? Thanks!!
