Notes
Storage - Leftover, cooked shrimp can be stored in an airtight container in the fridge. The shrimp will stay fresh in the fridge for up to 3 days.
Reheating - Leftover shrimp can be reheated in the air fryer at 350 degrees F for just a few minutes until warmed. You can also microwave them until warm - it doesn’t take long, about 30 seconds. You can even eat leftover shrimp cold on top of a salad.
For best results and extra crispy shrimp, make sure you preheat your air fryer before adding the shrimp. If your air fryer doesn’t have a ‘pre-heat’ function, you can just run the air fryer empty at the temp for a few minutes to heat it up.
To quickly thaw frozen shrimp, run them under cold water until the ice has melted. This only takes a few minutes.
Buy peeled and deveined shrimp - Buying pre-peeled and deveined shrimp is such a time saver! It’s up to you if you want to have tails on or off.
