8ouncenon-dairy whipped toppinglike Cool Whip
1egglightly whisked
½cupconfectioners sugar(aka powdered sugar)
Instructions
Preheat the oven to 350℉ and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
In a large mixing bowl, use a spatula to gently fold the cake mix, cool whip and egg together. Mix until well combined.
Use a 1 Tablespoon cookie scoop to drop dough balls into confectioners sugar, then roll to coat.
Place the sugar coated cookie dough balls on the prepared baking sheet and bake for 10 minutes in the preheated oven.
Remove from the oven and transfer to the cooling rack to cool.
Notes
Stirring will take about 3 minutes, it can take a while to make sure all the cake mix is dissolved. Don’t use an electric mixer or it will deflate the Cool Whip.
To make perfectly shaped cookies, use a glass and swirl around each cookie when it’s still hot from the oven.
These cookie dough balls are sticky! Drop straight into the powdered sugar, do not try to roll in your hands.
