In a large skillet, heat the olive oil. Add the onion and saute for a few minutes until it begins to soften.
Add the ground beef to the skillet with the onions and break it up into little pieces with a wooden spoon.
Saute the onion and ground beef for ten minutes, until the onions are soft and translucent and the ground beef is browned.
Add the rest of the ingredients and mix to combine. Place a lid on the skillet and let it simmer while your pasta is cooking. You can let it simmer for as long as you want, as the flavors will continue to develop the longer it cooks. Stir occasionally to keep the bottom from burning.
When the water is boiling, salt it with 1 tablespoon of salt and then add your pasta. Cook according to package directions.
When the pasta is done, spoon some onto a plate or bowl and ladle a large scoop of goulash over the top. Enjoy!
