4ouncesFreshly grated Mozzarella Cheeseabout 1 cup
1/4cupGrated Parmesan Cheese
2cupsPasta Sauce
12Slider Buns or small dinner rolls
1teaspoonItalian Seasoning
Instructions
Preheat oven to 350℉.
Split rolls and place on a foil lined baking sheet. Sprinkle each half with shredded Mozzarella cheese and a little Italian seasoning. Set aside.
Heat a saucepan on the stove over medium heat. Add fresh or frozen meatballs and sauce. Heat until meatballs are heated through; about 5-10 minutes.
Meanwhile, bake rolls in the oven just until the cheese is melted and the edges of the bread are golden; 3-5 minutes.
Place one meatball on half of each roll and top with more cheese, if desired. Replace tops of the sliders and serve immediately.
Notes
Use frozen meatballs or try my homemade meatballs.Optional finishing step - Melt 1/4 cup of butter and mix with a 1/2 teaspoon of garlic salt and a teaspoon of dried parsley. Once you add the tops to the sliders, brush them with the garlic butter. Cover loosely with foil and bake for 5-10 minutes.
