Lemon juice
Instructions
Peel, core, and dice apples. Then place in your slow cooker.
Add in cornstarch and mix until apples are coated.
Add sugars, cinnamon, butter, vanilla extract and lemon juice and mix well.
Cover and cook on HIGH for 2 hours until apples are tender.
Notes
Use any type of apples you like, keeping in mind that a crisper texture and tart flavor is ideal.
