In our house, we eat a LOT of popsicles. But store bought popsicles can get pricey plus they can come with lots of added sugar and artificial colors. We like to make our own popsicles and the kids are always begging for new flavors. So they other day I made Strawberry Vanilla Yogurt Popsicles.
Cut off the tops of the strawberries and slice each one in half. Puree the strawberries in a food processor or blender.
Fill popsicle molds 1/3 full with vanilla yogurt Layer strawberry puree on top of yogurt until mold is approx 2/3 full. Top off with another layer of yogurt.
Place popsicle sticks into the molds and freeze.
Notes
To remove popsicles from molds, run the molds under warm water and then gently slide the popsicles out. There are many different popsicle molds available these days. This is the popsicle mold that I used for this recipe.
